Notice is hereby given that the Meeting of Board of Directors will be held on Monday November 25, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. The board meeting will be held at Main Preparatory Academy located at 1035 Clay Street, Akron, Ohio 44301. The purposes of the Meeting are to consider various administrative matters and to address any other general business that may properly come before the Board of Directors.
Additionally, state law limits the amount of time students should spend taking state or school tests. The School may exceed the testing limitations by resolution of the Board of Directors. However, the Board of Directors is required to conduct at least one hearing on the proposed resolution. Accordingly, during the November 25, 2024, Meeting of the Board of Directors, the Board will conduct a hearing on the proposed resolution, exceeding the testing limitations.
Additionally, the Board will hold a Public Hearing on November 25, 2024, at which time any interested person may be heard. The purpose of the hearing is to review information and to allow comments from the community regarding the use of the school’s IDEA funds. The public hearing will be held at Main Preparatory Academy located at 1035 Clay Street, Akron, Ohio 44301.
