Winter Weather/School Closings
Should there be a need to close school due to weather, we will send an email, phone message and text message to all families with working information. The closing will also be posted on channels Fox 8, WEWS channel 5 and WKYC channel 3.
Get Fit Program
December 15th The entire school will be going to the Hall of Fame for the Winter Get Fit program. Permission slips must be turned in no later than December 10th.
Cookies with Cop
On December 17th we welcome back the Canton City Police Department to make cookies with all our students.
Reminders
Closed Campus
If you need to speak with a teacher or administrator, please remember you must call and make an appointment.
If you need to take your child out of school, please call ahead so we can have your child prepared to leave.
Dismissal – if you are going to have your child released from school it must be prior to 3pm. The office must be notified no later than 2:45pm. All staff are busy preparing for dismissal and will not be available for phone calls or to answer the door.
School Hours
Our school hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. 8:01 am is tardy.
Breakfast closes at 8 :00am.
Please remember our school is a closed campus. Entrance is by appointment only.

Outside Food
Fast food is not permitted for lunch or breakfast. It takes the students longer to eat, there are many more wrappers and trash for the children to handle and we provide both breakfast and lunch for our students. If you wish to give your child fast food for breakfast, they must eat it in the car or at home before coming into the building. Fast food will not be permitted for lunch.

December 18th – Festive Day -put all your holiday spirit on
